Hesam Salehbeig is an Iranian, Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist working across performance, sound, moving image, and installation. Rooted in diasporic memory and Iranian traditions of mystical cosmology, their work approaches queerness as a transcendental and pre-linguistic state. Through immersive and durational forms, they explore the body as a site of perception, spiritual transmission, and transformation.
